WESTFIELD — The Rotary Club of Westfield invites all high-school seniors who reside in Westfield to apply for scholarships by Tuesday, April 6. The scholarships will be awarded in June and will be announced at the Westfield High School awards night.
All high-school seniors who reside in Westfield and who will be attending an accredited college or university are eligible for the scholarships. Some scholarships also can be awarded to students who reside in Westfield and who will be attending an accredited law school.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Westfield awards approximately $90,000 to $100,000 in scholarships. Individual awards are typically in the range of $1,500 to $15,000. Since 1967, the club has awarded over $3 million in scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, financial need, and the student’s commitment to community service.
