Patriots Hold Back Raiders In Clash of Grid Foes, 21-12

Opportunities were there but some were missed which could have decided the outcome between the hosting Scotch Plains-Fanwood football Raiders and the Colonia Patriots in Scotch Plains on August 31. A turnover early in the game that halted a Raider drive, a monstrous penalty and a dropped pass in the end zone left the 1-1 Raiders on the short side of a 21-12 outcome.
