The Cranford High School field hockey team scored twice in the third quarter then held off Newark Academy for a 2-1 victory on September 13. Lillian Costello and Nora Blanche scored for the 1-2 Cougars andAmelia Wolfe provided and assist. Goalkeeper Lily Goodwin made eight saves. Olivia Croshaw recorded 11 saves for NewarkAcademy and Lynna King scored the goal.
