I am excited to share with you why I chose to run for the up and coming Town Council elections, and I want to take a moment to share with you the driving force behind my decision to run; a deep commitment to rekindling the spirit of community involvement and volunteerism that has long been the cornerstone of our town’s identity. As I spoke with many members of the community at our Republican Meet and Greet, at Jacava, I noticed many of the residents took pride in all they have done for their hometown, their Garwood! From a Boy Scouts den mother, keeping the baseball field alive with games, community and excitement and bringing the town together with a Celebrations Committee for holiday celebrations to volunteering at St. Anne’s as CCD instructors, and more. The volunteers in this town are amazing and I plan to keep it that way.
