The Hope Chest is operated completely by volunteers from the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Auxiliary. All of the proceeds from the store help to support residential care at the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care facilities in Scotch Plains and Elizabeth. This care is provided to individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, age, religious affiliation or ability to pay.
Items that are sold at The Hope Chest have been generously donated by members of the surrounding communities. These tax-deductible donations are welcome on Tuesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Auxiliary always welcomes new members and those interested in volunteering at The Hope Chest. Further information can be found by calling The Hope Chest at (908) 2339973 or by stopping in the store and speaking with one of the volunteers.
