STA Wins Cougar Invitational, SPF 2nd, WF 3rd, Cougars 4th
Competition was more intense, a few meet records were broken and a new champion was crowned at the 21st Cougar Invitational Gymnastic Meet in Cranford on October 12. A new addition, the No. 3 ranked St. Thomas Aquinas (STA) Trojans dethroned the defending champion sixthranked Scotch Plains-Fanwood (SPF) Raiders for the title.
