The Westfield High School girls basketball team got off on the right foot in the Falcon Holliday Tournament at Monroe High School with a 46-37 victory over the 2-3 Franklin Warriors on December 27. On December 29, however, the 5-1 Monroe Falcons were just a little too much in the fourth quarter, managed to break a 36-36 tie and squeaked out a 50-46 victory.
