KENILWORTH — The Kenilworth Historical Society will host a soup-tasting event on Thursday, March 21, from 6p.m.to8p.m.,attheKenilworthSenior Center, located at 526 Boulevard.
Thisever-popularevent,“Soup’sOn,” will give participants the opportunity to taste a variety of favorite soups from local restaurants/eateries and others. Assortedbreadsanddessertsalsowillbe served.A50/50 raffle will be held during the event.
Admission is $12. Parking and entrance to the Senior Center are located at the rear of the building. Advance reservations by Thursday, March 14, are requested, as seating is limited. Proceeds from “Soup’s On” will benefit the Kenilworth Historical Society’s Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museumandculturalartscenterby helping to defray building and operating expenses, including the cost of an elevator that makes all levels of the site fully accessible.
The Kenilworth Historical Society is an independent, volunteer-based, nonprofit, tax-exempt, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the research, preservation and interpretation of the circa 1880 Oswald J. Nitschke House, local history and culture.
