WESTFIELD — The Foundation for Sustainable Veteran Housing will host a benefit event entitled “Rock the Foundation” on Saturday, April 20, from 6 to 10 p.m. It will take place at the Westfield National Guard Armory, located at 500 Rahway Avenue, Westfield.
House of Wine & Liquor in Westfield is the event sponsor. Tickets are $75 and include unlimited tasting of wine, beer and liquor from more than 40 brands. There also will be food trucks that evening.
Spin Doctors will provide entertainment at the event, with special guests Drop the Needle Trio and Melanie Murray.
All proceeds will support the rebuilding ofAmerican Legion Post 3 in Westfield, which includes 22 units of housing for homeless veterans.
