Par. Hills Hands Crusaders First Loss in Boys Lacrosse

The Parsippany Hills High School boys lacrosse team handed the AL Johnson Crusaders their first loss of the season, 13-8, on April 17. Parsippany Hills improved to 2-3, while the Crusaders slipped to 6-1.

Rob Tyra led the Crusaders with four goals and an assist. Matt Robertazzi finished with two goals and three assists. Lucas Spearnock and Adrian Varona each scored once. Joey Ortega won 17 of 24 face-offs and scooped 15 ground balls. Jack Kalikas scooped four ground balls as did Dan Robertazzi, and Ryan Volmut scooped three. Pat Cook and Frankie Mentzel each scooped two ground balls. Goalkeeper Jake Szarszewski recorded 12 saves.

Zach DiLauri netted four goals and an assist for Parsippany Hills. Xavier Ballesteros had three goals and an assist. Owen Garcia scored three goals. Quinn Barbrack had a goal and four assists, and Gavin Barbrack had a goal and three assists. Rob Hemenway had a goal and an assist. Goalie Matt Hemenway recorded 18 saves.
