The eighth-seededAllentown boys lacrosse team defeated the ninthseeded Cranford Cougars, 16-8, in the first round of the South Jersey, Group 2 Tournament on May 22. Ryan Gregersen finished with three goals and two assists for the 3-14 Cougars. Tommy McCarthy had two goals and a ground ball. Joe Brodbeck had a goal, assist and a ground ball as did Will Morgan. Lucas Caldwell had two assists and a ground ball. Greg Reilly scored once and scooped a pair of ground balls. Matt O’Donnell had an assist.
