St. Francis Out-Slugs St. Iggie In Reg. Season Finale, 15-10
St. Francis had the second seed wrapped up by a smidgen for the St. Bart’s Oldtimers Men’s Softball League playoffs heading into the final game of the regular season game against St. Ignatius at Forest Road Park in Fanwood on August 14. A rocky first inning did not deter the Fran men, who answered loudly with their bats in the fourth and fifth innings while their defense turned four double plays in a 15-10 victory.
