Foundation Is Dedicated To Empowering Women
COUNTY — The Young Women Foundation has recently been recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in New Jersey. The foundation was established by Diana P. Calle and Elizabeth M. Carreras, both residents of Union County and firstgeneration college graduates. Their commitment to community service and empowerment began during their time with Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Inc. at college. This experience sparked their journey from sorority sisters to nonprofit leaders, driven by a desire to uplift the next generation of women.
