The hosting Phillipsburg Stateliners football team sidelined the Westfield Blue Devils, 44-17, on September 8. The Stateliners jumped on the Blue Devils on the first play of the game with a 79-yard touchdown run by Jah’quil Dooley and mixed a nice passing game with a formidable running attack to keep the Blue Devils in check.
