Blue Devil Girls Roar Back, Silence RFH Bulldogs, 61-36
Defensive solidarity on the part of the Westfield High School basketball team took a major leadership role in the second half when the Blue Devils hosted the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs on December 23. Trailing 26-25 at halftime, the Blue Devils’ defense limited the Bulldogs to a pair of free throws in a 26-2, third-quarter run en route to a 61-36 triumph.
