Blue Devils Win Key Bouts, Stagger Union Matmen, 51-22
A very tense outcome was expected when the Westfield High School wrestling team hosted the Union Farmers who brought a 6-1 record, which included wins over Rahway and Elizabeth, into Westfield on January 10. Key bouts had to be won and the Blue Devils won both of them and fared very well in the potential tossup bouts to deliver a staggering 51-22 blowout victory.
