The 13th-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School girls basketball team put it all together to eliminate the fourth-seeded Columbia Cougars, 55-47, in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament in South Orange on February 27. The 10-16 Raiders pulled 48 rebounds and were led by senior Marin Pecarsky, who had a doubledouble with 10 rebounds and 18 points (2 3-pointers, 2 free throws) and added two steals, an assist and a block.
