Kevin Denman, 72
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Denman of Kuna, Idaho. Kevin passed away in his home, at the age of 72, after a brief illness. Kevin was born on November 13, 1951, and grew up in Westfield, N.J. He was a graduate of Westfield High School, Union College and Colorado State University. He later moved to Texas, Colorado, and lastly Idaho. Kevin worked as a Corrections Officer for the Idaho Prison System for 14 years and became Captain with the Bureau of Prisons.
Kevin loved the outdoors, skiing and traveled to many countries.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Joan Denman of Temecula, Calif. He leaves behind his brothers John Denman and Susan Denman of Barnegat, N. J., and Robert Denman, Jr. and Janice Denman, also of Temecula, Calif. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Robert Denman, of the Westfield Fire Department, and a brother, Timothy Denman. Kevin also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews, Blake Denman, Brittany Jones, Conor Denman and Traci Denman, and several greatnieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s name can be made to your favorite charity. Visitors may pay their respects to the family by attending a memorial service to be held at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Avenue, Westfield, N.J. 07090, on Friday, March 28, from 6 to 9 p.m., and interment at Fairview Cemetery, 1100 East Broad Street, Westfield, N. J. 07090, the following morning.
