SCOTCH PLAINS — The last time a property revaluation was done in Scotch Plains, in 1983, Ronald Reagan was the president, Darryl Strawberry was a 19-year-old rookie outfielder for the Mets, and the Sterling Chase and Berwyck Chase developments were farmland. More than four decades later, it looks like a property revaluation is finally in the works.
