WESTFIELD — The College Woman’s Club (CWC) of Westfield has announced its first community outreach event designed especially for parents of middle-school students.
All local middle-school mothers are invited to participate in an evening of connection, insight and support as guest speaker Susana MacLean presents “A Time to Explore: Our 8th and 9th Grader’s First Steps Toward College Admissions.”
The event will take place on Thursday, May 1, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Limani Seafood Grill, located at 235 North Avenue West, Westfield. The cost is $50 per person and includes beverages and bites. Those who are interested in attending are asked to register at https://bit.ly/ TimeToExplore01May. Registration closes on Friday, April 25.
More than just a scholarship organization, The College Woman’s Club is a community of women who share their experiences and wisdom as they guide their own children through the journey of high school and the college- admissions process. The upcoming event will serve as an opportunity for parents to begin building connections and to feel supported as they embark on this new chapter.
According to the CWC, the evening will provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, featuring a casual social gathering complemented by Ms. MacLean’s talk.
