Miss Ann P. Boland Weds John T. Macko
Miss Ann Patricia Boland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boland of West Orange, was married on Friday, November 27, to John Thomas Macko. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Macko of Westfield.
The afternoon nuptials took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in West Orange, with the bride escorted down the aisle by her father. Performing the ceremony was the Reverend William Melillo and Monsignor Michael Kelly. A reception was held at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge.
Altar servers were Matthew Pepper of Florham Park, the nephew of the bride, and Mack Kelly of Glen Rock, the cousin of the bride.
Mrs. Kathleen Pepper of Florham Park and Ms. Megan Boland of Hoboken, both sisters of the bride, served as the matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively.
Bridal attendants included Miss Ann Macko of Hoboken, the sister of the bridegroom; Miss Bethany Buteau and Miss Maureen Keogh, also from Hoboken, who are friends of the bride.
The flower girls were Miss Heather Pepper of Florham Park, Miss Brianna Kelly of Glen Rock and Miss Samantha Kelly of Corte
Madera, California. Greg Mills of Hoboken, a friend of the bridegroom, was the best man. Lee Krasner of Scotch Plains, Jeff Smith of Wilkinburg, Pennsylvania, Allan Valunas of Greensboro, all friends of the bridegroom, and Scott Pepper of Florham Park, the brotherin-law of the bride, served as ushers.
An alumna of Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, the bride graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is employed by Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan.
The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Westfield High School. He is also an alumnus of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, and a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. He is employed as a co-senior underwriter by CNA Insurance Company in Manhattan.
A rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and out-of-town guests was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at Rock Spring Club in West Orange.
A bridal shower was given by the bridal attendants at Top Notch Restaurant in Montclair.
Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple reside in Hoboken.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, and is a senior accountant with the CIT Group in New York City. He is currently pursuing a Master of Information Management Degree at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.
His fiancée is an honors graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. She is a communications associate with the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City.
An October wedding is planned. Terri Patricia Wickens, to Michael
Joseph Hecht of Cranford. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hecht of Cranford.
The future bride graduated from Westfield High School and was awarded her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Kean University in Union. She is employed as a compliance officer at Prudential Insurance Company in Livingston.
Her fiancé, an alumnus of Cranford High School, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Stockton State College in Pomona. He is employed as a financial advisor at Paine Webber Inc. in Westfield.
The couple plan to be married in September of 2000.
Owen James Welcomed By Kessler Family
John and Kelly Kessler of Stamford, Connecticut have announced the birth of their son, Owen James Kessler, on Wednesday, December 2.
He joins his older brothers, Kevin, 5, and Jack, 3.
Owen’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Clabby of Edgewater, Maryland, formerly of Westfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kessler of Westfield are his paternal grandparents.
Alexa Nicole Born to Mandels
Lloyd and Dina Mandel of Warren have announced the birth of their daughter, Alexa Nicole Mandel, on Saturday, January 23, at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
Lexi joins her brother, Matt, 5½, and sister, Jordan, 2½.
Her maternal grandparents are Arnold and Louise Marcus of Scotch Plains.
Harvey and Joan Mandel of Boca Raton, Florida are her paternal grandparents.
Lexi is named in honor of her greatgrandmother, Mary Corson, and her great-grandfather, Mike Schuffman.
